DNA Prep
Alta Biotech's experienced DNA Prep scientists provide fast and efficient plasmid DNA purification. We select commercial anion-exchange kits from premium brands to prepare pure plasmid DNA. Our in-house developed semi-automated process and enhanced quality control procedures reduce human errors and cost. Alta Biotech is committed to delivering high-quality plasmid DNA for cell transfection, transgenic injection, DNA vaccine development, and other applications.
We provide flexible services options for the DNA prep: DNA Prep scale from Mini to Giga, or targeted amount
Specialized DNA prep protocols applied to both high and low-copy plasmids to optimize yield and quality. DNA prep applied for high-copy plasmids (e.g. pUC, pGEM, pTZ, pBluescript derived vector with pUC, F1 origin or derivative pMB1 or ColE1 origin) or low-copy plasmids (e.g. plasmid with wild type pMB1 or ColE1 origin, pBR322, R6k, or p15A origin)
Endotoxin-free prep (< 0.1 EU/µg DNA)*, or Non-endotoxin-free prep (~9.3 EU/µg DNA) services are available
We accept starting materials from plasmid DNA*, bacterial colony, bacterial stab, bacterial pellet, and glycerol stock
Standard quality analysis for plasmids using OD260/280 and OD260/230. Optional extra QC of sanger sequencing, restriction enzyme digestion, and sterile test are also available*
Final product concentration normalization and custom aliquots*
